The Most Realistic Roll
Harmony Links Design Series selected SofTrak greens due to their roll true and ability to accept shots from up to 200 yds. Many other synthetic turf greens have what is referred to in the industry as “oscillation” or “snaking.” This is characterized by a ball wandering randomly at the end of a putt. The next putt hit on the same line wanders randomly in different directions so improvement and enthusiasm are limited by performance. The Synthetic Golf Course Turf
SofTrak® synthetic golf course turf is a specialized product manufactured from fibers specifically designed to simulate the softness, texture, density, and color of natural bent-grass. SofTrak® synthetic golf course turf is manufactured to precise specifications incorporating 36% more fibers per square inch than any other surface in order to create a putting surface that is truly realistic and performs just like a natural bent-grass green. Additionally, the softness of these dense fibers differentiates SofTrak® synthetic golf course turf.
The In-fill System
The SofTrak® system integrates a unique in-fill system called RQS-2000™ into the fibers of the turf which creates a natural feel in the putting surface. RQS-2000 is an exclusive product developed by X-Grass Worldwide Turf Solutions specifically for putting greens that is made from a specially formulated blend cleaned and size graded round quartz and is designed to keep the putting surface soft. Other vendor’s greens are filled with ordinary sand which causes the putting surface to compact and harden over time, limiting their playability. The in-fill system also incorporates SofTrak® Top Dressing our specially formulated and size graded blend of green and black colored acrylic coated quartz that give your green the deep rich luster that only SofTrak® greens known for. |
